If you had to choose only two qualities to get you through times of change, the first should be a sense of self-worth and the second a sense of humor. --Jennifer James

Bio...

I have been doing various forms of media: multimedia, web design, eLearning & graphic design since 1998.

When I first started out in 1998, I wanted to be a 3D animator. I loved the concept; after getting my certification in 3D and learning the kinetics of 3D animation in 2000, I decided to change my focus. I am thankful for the experience, and now that I know that aspect of media, it helps when working with 3D experts on projects.

I had the privilege of taking the McCarthy Boot Camp in 2003. During the bootcamp you are matched up with random strangers. An simulated environment is provided where everyone learns how to have a shared vision. Lessons learned has benefited me to set high standards in my work that I produce.

Now, my focus is interactive media/design. Which manifests through usability, web design, instructional design and social networking. I am actively involved in tech community groups as well as online communities for design, eLearning and social networking. I feel that it is important to share information and learn from each other. In my spare time, I enjoy pilates, hiking, and travel.
